Meet Dr. Myron Rolle
Dr. Myron Rolle is a former NFL player turned neurosurgeon. In college, he received a Rhodes Scholarship, which caused him to have to make a choice between getting drafted into the NFL or continuing his education. He opted to continue his education. He joined the NFL later but only played football a few more years. He decided to go to medical school and he’s now working as a neurosurgery resident at Havard-Massachusetts General Hospital.

What You’ll Learn About Mental Health and Mental Strength
A lot of people talk about self-acceptance and how it’s important to be satisfied with who you are. Other people talk about the continuous desire to grow better. This can be a little confusing at times. Dr. Rolle’s 2% better strategies don’t mean you can’t love yourself right now. Instead, adopting his philosophy simply means you want to keep growing every single day–which might bring more meaning and purpose to your daily life.
Quotes From Dr. Rolle
“You don’t have to be a hundred percent better tomorrow. You don’t have to accomplish all of your goals tomorrow. Just take a small step every single day. Break it down piece by piece.““You don’t even know the people who are watching you as you move through life. As you move through work, as you move through a community, they’re like, ‘man, there’s something special about that young woman, something special about that young man. And, maybe if I can grab a little bit of what they have, then I can be better.’ And then it’s just like a ripple effect. It continues on throughout the generations.”
