Dave talks a lot about the exercises and strategies that help him grow stronger, like journaling and therapy. Those choices that he makes to improve himself help him grow stronger and improve his mental health. He clarifies that some factors outside of his control have impacted his mental health, such as the pandemic. But, he knows it’s up to him to take steps to take care of himself every single day.

Quotes From Dave

If you’ve given your best effort, who cares, what anybody else thinks, You have to do the uncomfortable even when the uncomfortable ends up making other people uncomfortable. As you start to embrace your truth, as you start to embrace why you’re actually here.I dubbed my patio the ‘patio of peace’ to force stillness so that I could create a relationship with my emotions, understand what I was thinking and feeling, and deeply connect with why I’m here and what I’m supposed to do with my life.I’m not necessarily happy to be sad, but at least I can understand why sadness believes it has a role in having presented itself.
